CHILI COOKOFF REGISTRATION

REGISTRATION IS A TWO-STEP PROCESS

Thanks for entering the Chili Cookoff event. Teams consist of two people and you will turn in one pot of chili. Each pot of chili will be judged in three categories. You do not have to select a category for your dish. Categories are: Overall best chili with beans, Overall best no beans, Spiciest (hottest) chili, People’s choice (voted by general public in attendance). If chili is judged by more than one judge to be inedible due to excessive heat from peppers and spices, your entry will not qualify.

You will need to follow the rules set down by Cookoff Committee, posted on this site, as well as follow the rules for sanitation and food handling set down by the City of Rowlett, Texas. Here is a link to the City’s rules for sanitation. Please review before registering and consider those rules as incorporated in the rules for this event.

Cost to register is $25 per team. If you wish to register more than one team, please complete the registration process separately for each team. Once you submit the form, you will be returned to this page. Please select the Payment button to pay for your registration.

General Release of Liability: I hereby release and agree to hold harmless Crossroads Church and Rowlett Strong, Inc. and their volunteers and employees, from the loss or damage to the undersigned's property or any personal injury which he/she or any helpers may sustain while setting up or participating in the Rowlett Strong Chili and Dutch Oven Cookoff. The undersigned agrees to abide by the rules set forth by the Cookoff Committee. The Committee reserves the right to make the final interpretation of the rules and the acceptance or denial of entrants.

I understand there are no refunds once I have been accepted into the cookoff event.

Entry fee is $25 per team. If you wish to enter more than one team, please return to this form after submitting the first team and submit another for the second team. You will be returned to this page after you submit this form. Please click the payment button and submit payment at that time. Your registration is not complete until payment has been made.
